Mr PR Sharp |
09-OCT-2025 |
This course focuses on developing and integrating fieldwork methods and concepts into your artistic practice.
This is a practical field work and studio class in two parts.
The first part is an immersive field work experience including specific lectures and practical workshops on Paakantji and
Wilyakali land at Fowlers Gap research station near Broken Hill. The second part is making work in the studio based on the
fieldwork research.
The course is not discipline specific, but project based.
Delivered as an intensive and immersive experience, the course builds on current fieldwork methodologies in contemporary art
practice while encouraging you to explore observational, embodied, and experimental artistic techniques as you expand and
enhance your practice by responding to a specific site.
The studio-based component is in T3. |
