Dr R Brander 31-AUG-2011 Important Changes to GEOS3731 As part of an overhaul of undergraduate courses in the School of BEES, significant changes have been made to GEOS3731 Catchment and Coastal Geomorphology which were not able to be updated in various handbook descriptions. In 2011, the course will be called 'Coastal Geomorphology' and will be 100% coastal in topic, dealing with coastal processes, monitoring and management. This means there is no further fluvial geomorphology component. There will still be a field trip involved and some of the labs will also involve short excursions to local beaches. Students should also be aware that the course will run in alternating years so will next be offered in 2013 (and not 2012).
