Dr P Wang 31-AUG-2008 Prerequisites: CHIN1006. Students who do not have the necessary prerequisites must visit the School of Languages and Linguistics website for placement information. All classes begin from Week 1. Students must attend 5 hours of class for 12 weeks. The course is divided into 4 groups: two groups for non-background speakers (ie students who have no dialect knowledge); and two groups for background speakers (ie students who have dialect and previous character knowledge).
