Dr P Wang 31-MAR-2008 NOTE: Students must visit the School of Languages & Linguistics website for details on placement information before enrolling in the course. All classes (lecture, seminar and tutorials) begin from Week 1. Students must attend one two-hour lecture from Week 1 to Week 12, one one-hour seminar and three hours of tutorials from Week 1 to Week 12. Four tutorial groups for students who are non-background speakers (ie with no dialect and previous character knowledge); and three tutorial groups for students who are background speakers (ie with dialect and previous character knowledge).
